There are three Kings of the blues -- BB, Albert and Freddie -- but Riley
"Blues Boy" King is the first among equals of that triumvirate of monarchs,
and if you need a queen to go along with him, then it has to be a curvy,
sweet-sounding lady by name of Lucille (a queen doesn't need a surname, but
her's would have to be Gibson). The most successful exponent of the urban
Chicago blues style he helped create, BB King is the best known bluesman in
the world, and a giant -- literal and figurative -- of 20th century music.
