James Brown (born May 3, 1928)

The Godfather of Soul was billed to play his only British show at three different venues. I was fortunate to choose the one venue at which he did appear. Although spectacle is no substitute for talent, James Brown has so much of both that this was one of the most memorable shows I have seen.
