That tenor and soprano saxophonist Williamson has released only three recordings is no reflection on his talent. One of Britains top young players, he has worked with Art Blakey and also appeared at the concert for Nelson Mandela's 70th birthday, accompanying the IDJ dancers. This picture was made after a Glasgow Jazz Festival show just after the champagne was opened to celebrate his birthday.
