Catfish Keith

I first heard Catfish Keith at the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival. One of the finest exponents of old acoustic country blues, he features original and traditional material alongside his own arrangements of songs by, amongst others, Barbecue Bob, Joseph Spence, Bo Carter, Son House and, of course, Robert Johnson. Broadly speaking Catfish occupies similar territory to Bob Brozman and Roy Book Binder. Definitely the real deal.
